She was a primary school teacher, specialized in English. She is currently retired.

Since she was young, she has always loved music, especially singing, and she has been part of various choirs.

Her first contact with castanets was at a senior center where this activity was taught. She became fond of it and thought it would be good to advance further, which is when she met Teresa Laiz, her current teacher, with whom she has been perfecting this art for about five years and participating in events in cities such as Seville, Guadalajara, and Madrid.

Nowadays, she belongs to the Castanet Choir of Madrid, directed by Teresa Laiz.
