PIANIST
Erin is 17. She is currently in 11th grade. She is a piano student of Dr. Anna Ouspenskaya since the fall of 2016. She won the 1st Place of the Little Mozarts International Competition 2019 with Polunin Petite Piano Concerto in A Minor, and performed Beethoven Sonata 49, No. 2, Mov. 1 at the Winner Concert at Carnegie Hall in May 2019. Her Polunin’s Concerto also won her the 3rd place of GCC series, The Music of Eastern Europe Competition 2019, and the Honorable Mention prize of the 2019 Concert Artists International™ Virtuoso Competition IV, while her Beethoven’s Sonata won her 2nd place in the Masters of Sonata Competition of GCC in 2019. She also won 3rd Prize of GCC series, Best Tchaikovsky Competition 2019. In 2020, she won 2nd place in the American Fine Arts Festival and Honorable Mention in the NVMTA Robert Spencer Piano Concerto Competition using her Mendelssohn Piano Concerto in G Minor, Mvt. 3. In 2022, she was one of the semi-finalists for the Knabe International Piano Competition and won 3rd place for GCC’s The Art of Piano competition with her Chopin Fantasy Impromptu. In 2023, she won Honorable Mention for American Music Talent Competition, shortlisted for Vienna International Competition, and her Prelude and Fugue in D Major won 2nd Prize in GCC Best of Bach Performance. She’s scheduled to play at Carnegie Hall again in May 2023. Besides playing the piano and violin, she enjoys reading, writing, science, ballet, and singing.
