Gavin Yu is a 9th grader at Monte Vista High School in Danville, CA.  An active competitive swimmer, he also stays busy as a violinist and has played in the East Bay Chamber Orchestra, as well as taking RCM and ASTACAP examinations.  In addition, Gavin is a prizewinner of the North California Young Talents Competition.
