Gisele Francisco from Boston MA is a freshman in high school, attending Boston Latin School. Since she was 4, she’s been playing the violin with the Boston String Academy with Mariesther Alvarez as her instructor. She’s participated in multiple summer programs across the country including YOLA National Festival, Greenwood Music Camp and Point CounterPoint. She was part of the BEAM program for two years, receiving full scholarship to take lessons, chamber music, theory and orchestra at the New England Conservatory, studying under Magdalena Richter. While mostly participating in orchestras, she now participates in the Element String Quartet with other BSA members. Other than the violin, Gisele enjoys other creative activities which she does in her free time.
