Violinist Kenneth Zhang, age 13, lives in Orinda, CA. A longtime student of James Greening-Valenzuela, he was selected to perform as soloist in Berkeley's Junior Bach Festival, and has garnered a number of prizes in music competitions: First Prize, Charleston International Music Competition; First Prize, North California Young Talents Competition; First Prize, San Francisco International Innovative Music Competition; First Prize, Pelican International Music Competition; First Prize, DVC/HNU String Competition in California. Also an accomplished pianist, Kenneth attends the Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, California.
