Lucas started his piano journey at the age of 5. During the pandemic, largely bound at home,piano became a source of comfort and solace. After opening up, he has participated in a number of recitals and started to join competitions recently. He has won a few prizes including a first prize in an online competition for the first concerto he played, first prize in a local competition, 3rd in baroque senior category where he played a Bach sinfonia in this year’s USOMC competition. In the recent golden classical music awards, he received first prize and performed at Walt Disney concert hall. In the summer he has also joined summer camp for chamber music and has performed 8 hands piece and piano trios where he worked together with violin and cello players.
