Marta Casas
Soprano Marta Casas obtained her Voice degree at the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid. She also holds a master's degree in Musical Research and Performance from Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid, where she graduated with the highest marks. In 2021, she completed a course in Flamencology at the University of Córdoba, earning a perfect score of 10 out of 10. Additionally, Marta has studied the violoncello for eight years at the conservatory in her hometown. She holds a degree in Law from both Spain and the Università Statale of Milan, and a Master's in Public Policy Management from Alfonso X University of Madrid.
Marta is proficient in multiple languages, including English, French, Italian, Arabic, Portuguese, German, Galician, Hieroglyphics, and Coptic. She has studied under prestigious lyrical figures such as Josep Carreras, Mirella Freni, Mariella Devia, Ana María Sánchez, Manuel Burgueras, Emilio Sagi, Fernando Balboa, José Miguel Pérez-Sierra, María Bayo, and Delfo Menicucci at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi of Milan.
She has performed on various stages in Spain, Italy, the United States, and Jerusalem, and has sung before notable personalities such as H.M. Queen Sophia of Spain on her 80th anniversary. Since 2020, Marta has been a professor at the Higher Conservatory of Music of Castilla-la Mancha.
Marta studied the entire Castanets Method at the Teresa Laiz International Castanet School and is a member of the Madrid Castanet Choir, directed by Teresa Laiz. She participates as a soloist and singer in the choir and has co-founded the Compañía Española de Canto y Palillos with Teresa Laiz. Together, they have performed in various theaters in Spain and abroad, winning two awards in international music competitions.
