Why do we go for competitions and auditions? To me, I am always on the lookout for opportunities to share my love for music through stage performance, breaking away from conventional notions of success. Of course, the name of Carnegie Hall strikes a chord, with great artistes like Li Yundi and Yuja Wang having performed on that stage. But more importantly, I hope to do something different from what I do at school, and in doing so uncovering my weaknesses and unveiling my strengths.
