Reema Ayache

She is a high school student.

Being raised in a family with a love for the arts and music, Reema has developed her own forms of artistic expression and creativity. An award-winning artist, she showcases her interpretative and creative skills through intricate pieces of art and with diverse media such as drawings, paintings, and Persian and Arabic calligraphy.

Her art and works have been published in both national and international journals, including the Global Equality for Medical Care Organization International Journal Volume I , HopeWorks Howard County 2021, and the Americans with Disabilities Art Contest. She has also been commissioned to design and draw a variety of logos for different organizations and groups, album covers, as well as making and selling stickers.

Further, Reema is involved in music, playing a variety of instruments including piano, violin, setar (Persian), daf, and flute. A member of her high school chamber orchestra, vice-president of Youth of the World Orchestra, and the former membership chair of her high school’s Tri-M National Honors Society (a musical honors society).

In 2023, she began taking online castanet classes with Teresa Laiz to build upon the skills she had learned when dancing flamenco and has since joined Madrid Castanet Choir.
