Pianist
Richard Long is an 11 year-old pianist. At five he began his passion as a pianist driven by nature. He is now studying piano at the Canada Academy of Music & Arts (CAMA) with his teacher Olga Chichova. He loves 70’s music and Jazz. He also has his very own band named “Remedy of Music”.
Richard earned many awards in competitions, he got first place in the Kiwanis festival in Guelf, a Distinction in Instrumental Music award at school, and a provincial music festival award. He recently passed level 10 on RCM with a distinction recognition. He also plays Alto Sax in his school band and does sports like Basketball and swimming.
Richard hopes to be a band leader in the future to bring back nostalgia from 70’s music and change people’s lives with music.
